Indian Movie stars and their close relatives and pals gathered in the beautiful town of Lake Como in Italy, to attend a spectacular wedding for three days, starting on Wednesday.
Director and Producer Karan Johar praised and congratulated the couple they tie the knot: “Such a stunningly gorgeous and beautiful couple!!!! Nazar utar lo! @deepikapadukone and @RanveerOfficial !! Badhai ho !!! Love you both!!! Here’s to a lifetime of love and joy!”
Actress Nimrat Kaur also expressed love to the couple via Twitter: “Huge congratulations @deepikapadukone and @RanveerOfficial !! Here’s to the blissful ever after of every step you walk together…”
Their fairytale wedding ceremony was held at Villa del Balbianello, by the riverbank of Lake Como, where celebrities such as John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have already organized their star loaded wedding. It was a private event with only 40 guests. Security Personnel were seen to be keeping guard of the monumental building before the wedding day, and they continued to keep watch during the week in order the couple with the best secrecy.
Mehendi ceremony was held on Wednesday, before the wedding, where Deepika had applied some gorgeous henna patterns.
After their white-themed Konkani concept wedding ceremony on Wednesday, they will also have a red-themed Sindhi concept ceremony on Thursday. The couple plans to hold two parties: one in their hometown of Bengaluru and the other in Mumbai.
Deepika and Ranveer quietly started their relationship more than six years ago after they feature together in a masterstroke movie. They continued to keep their affair secretly for many years, but soon they were proud to walk on red carpet and celebrity events together.
After disclosing their relationship, they immediately became a solid couple in Bollywood because of their three hit movies, desirable appearance, and charming passion.
